August 11, 2005Jack the vehicle up so the wheels, depending if your doing the front or back, are off the ground. Mark the tire and driveshaft, fronts if doing the front, rears if doing the back. Put the vehicle in neutral and rotate the tire one revolution. Count how many times the drive shaft turns and that will get you pretty close ...... If the driveshaft turns @4 times, + or -, for every time the tire turns once, then you've got something like 3.73s or 4.11s. 3.73s being a little less than 4 and 4.11s being a little more than 4. Like I said, it'll get you close ........
