June 12, 2004with 7 inches of lift you should be able to fit 33 x 12.5 tires. how well do you know your local tire dealership? if he has some 33`s mounted on some rims that will fit your ranger you will be able to tell for sure. even if you don`t know him that well he might do it for the prospect of a sell.
June 27, 2004i had a ranger with a 3 inch body lift and i had 33 10.5`s and hardly rubbed, just a little on the inside of my tire where it scuffed along the chassis. you should have plenty of room to go bigger i would think.. lapeer 4x4 may older tires around to throw on just to see if they fit. not sure though i havnt been out there in a while. give them a try hopfuly they can help you out
June 27, 2004And what year was your Ranger? With a 89, the biggest you can fit with 7" is 33s, maybe even 34s.
June 29, 2004my ranger was a 94. im am suprized that their would be so much of a difference in clearance between them.
June 29, 2004As you probably know Rangers received an overhaul in 1993 which also included the fenderwells. 93-current fenderwell openings are much larger than 82-92 Rangers allowing for bigger tires.
July 1, 2004know that they changed the body but everything else seemed the same.. but now i know.
