MJ, i`m sorry to step in, but you need to check your "facts"
"you must `trust` as you lack the knowledge to judge for yourself.
fact is the design isn`t great.
post pics of your notched frame that is tougher then stock
the junk supplied in that kit to replace the rail isnt near as strong as the factory frame."
you should really have some knowledge or at least expierence before claiming "facts" that are false and uninformed. You ask ANYONE with mechanical structures or engineering background to review the structural cross section of the standard "C-notch" and compare it the cross section of the typical frame in the area it`s replacing, and you will be shown the clear advantage of strength replacement provided by the the notch.
You insult componants and hardware that you have no practical knowledge in; and make assumptions on installations that you have no experience in. That`s sad to me. i understand you have the standard mental block that most offroad truck owners have when it comes to trucks, and i accept that. but dude, your "facts" are weak and baseless. at least attempt to open your mind and understand that just because you don`t LIKE it, doesn`t make it WRONG.
