March 13, 2004Thanks Kevin, I`ll go over all the connections, as well as drain the system out and start all over again on Monday. .... Maybe there`s some kind of contaminant in it, making it foam ......

March 13, 2004i have delt with ford tractors, just not any with power steering, our ford tractor is a `52, and still running great.
March 13, 2004the oil has to have the antifoming anitive added at the time of blending.find out from the ford dealer or a service manual what specs the oil must meet or you could end up doing some damage.there is usually an zinc wear additive in most hydraulic oils.
March 13, 2004OLIVER, now theres an old tractor! i helped a guy i know build some corrals and he had 2 of them, talk about a classic machine! they both still ran real well too.

For all you hay baling hicks like me...LOL
NOTHING RUNS LIKE A DEERE!!!
Definately drain the entire system and start over, I would say there might be a little water in the line or resevior, mixed w/ air this might make your foam problem.
