March 30, 2005Thornbirds are just a good looking road tire they suck in mud and sand and snow and rocks that rules out everything but the road.
TSLs are great in all forms of terrain.
April 5, 2005I agree with the tsl's but think you will have some rubbing problems with the 35's. I had rubbing problems with 35's and a 6" suspension lift. 16x10 wheels at the time. Just FYI.
April 8, 2005If you doubt the off road abilities of thornbirds, just look at "Not High Enough"'s pictures. I had a set of 33x12.50 thornbirds on my 88 Dakota, and they did great in the sand, and definitely in the mud.
April 19, 2005I think it is gonna be tight... Sort of depends on the rims you have or get, and how far out/in they push the tire... I know this is sort of a simple concept, but it is more tha just the tire... It is dpendant on the type, and size of the rim, as well as how much side to side action there is in the tire while turning.... An agressive tire is not something you want rubbing.... Just My
