September 25, 2005I have a 2001 Superduty with 35s and a 6"suspention lift. I have Rancho 9000 series adjustable shocks that are only a year and a half old. I am can feel a rough or bumpy ride espescially over 60 mph.
Someone told me that if the shocks are not leaking there fine? Is this true or can they still be bad ? My local 4 wheel drive shop said the shocks were more than enough for my truck. A Sears Mechanic!! told me that Rancho are designed for off road only and should not be used on highway! I don't believe this to be true but have to ask.
My problem is I'm getting cupping on the tires and a rough ride. I rotate every 2500 miles as told to do by other big truck owners.
Sooo, are my shocks bad or should I look at other items.
