November 1, 2005Hey guys I just built a fresh 1989 Chevy TBI 350 motor. I have 1.6 ratio rocker compaired to the 1.5's and it is bored .30 over. I changed the motor over to a full roller motor and I am positive the entire motor is assembled correctly and the heads are fine.
My problem is that when i first fired the motor up it ran beautifly but over a course of about 10 starts it won't stay running. The motor pulsates for the 20 seconds it runs and then the fuel cuts out. I have done everythign and I cannot find a problem, no sevice engine light nothing. I wonder if it is a short in my computer or perhaps a slightly easier solution like wrong rocker ratio or cam or what. SOMEONE HELP!
